November was always a great month, but for the past four years it has been even better. November will now forever be known in educated, well groomed circles as Movember, the month where compassionate, generous and manly men cultivate moustaches for charity.
I've always been a fan of facial hair, and thankfully the lesser groomed man is having something of a comeback in sartorial circles as of late, but there's still something rare, special and slightly magical about a man with just a moustache. It takes a certain confidence to pull one off.
